There’s no such thing as a typical learner. Whatever your situation, lessons are always calm, judgement-free and built around where you are right now.
Never sat in the driver’s seat? That’s absolutely fine. We’ll start with the basics and take everything step by step.
I specialise in nervous learners. If driving makes you uneasy, you’re not alone, and we’ll work through it gradually at a pace that feels right.
Returning after a break, or had a bad experience with another instructor? Or struggling with the clutch in a manual? A fresh start in an automatic can make all the difference.
Getting your licence is the goal, but becoming a genuinely confident driver is the real aim. Without gears to think about, you can put all your focus into reading the road and making good decisions.

Not at all. You still learn everything a safe driver needs: observation, hazard awareness, manoeuvres and road positioning. You just don’t have gears and a clutch competing for your attention.
No. You’ll get an automatic licence, which covers every automatic and electric car. If you ever want to drive a manual, you can take a separate manual test later without redoing your theory.
Everyone learns at a different pace, so there’s no fixed number. I’ll always be honest about your progress and what I think will help you most.
